Oak Barrel Baroque: Michael Beutler returns to La Raia

Michael Beutler, four years after his project BALES 2014/2017 , returns to Gavi to create Oak Barrel Baroque for Fondazione La Raia–arte cultura territorio, a work composed of wooden beams and barrique staves, inspired by the architecture of Palladio and the typical Italian churches in small town squares. A shelter, a place in which to linger, a small theater where the performance Care Selve. Florilegio by Aline Nari will be staged during the opening.

Green & Blue

Eleven years ago a project was born at La Raia that makes us prouder every year: a Waldorf-Steiner kindergarten welcoming more than thirty children who grow and learn in contact with nature every day. Slow Wine rewards La Raia and Gavi DOCG Pisé 2017

Slow Wine, the 11th edition of Slow Food's wine guide, recognises our commitment to quality with two awards. La Raia's winery receives the "Bottiglia di Slow Wine 2021", given to wineries that deliver their best across their whole range, with excellent average quality in every tasting. Gavi DOCG Pisé 2017 is named "Top wine - everyday wine": our cru is rewarded for its excellent organoleptic quality and its ability to capture in the glass the character of its land, history and environment. The guide will be in bookshops on 14 October, after its presentation at Milano Wine Week 2020.
